Plan on arriving and be ready to walk into the woods at 8:30. If you are running late - call me on my mobile.
We will begin collecting plants for the NC Museum of Art woodland restoration project. At present the plants we will work to rescue are vaccinium, hexastylis, hypericum, Christmas Fern, Ebony Spleenwort, Lady Fern, and others.
All rescuers must sign our release of liability at the rescue, both to ensure they are aware of the dangers and as our record of rescuers.
Please review our policies on rescues at ncwildflower.org/native_plants/rescues
Our binding agreement with Chatham Park requires that one of the approved "Rescue Coordinators" be present for any plant rescues done on Chatham Park owned properties.
