This new Triangle Land Conservancy preserve opened in June and is a wonderful example of what can happen when conservation and community come together. Once slated for housing development, these 65 acres are now permanently protected, preserving beautiful forest habitat, clear streams, and nearly four miles of thoughtfully designed multi-use trails. Working alongside local volunteers and trail experts, TLC’s Conservation Fund transformed an informal trail network into a sustainable system featuring new bridges, improved accessibility, and routes that wind through mature woods with just enough elevation to keep things interesting. The preserve offers a peaceful escape and a chance to experience a part of our region that has been protected for future generations. For more information: https://triangleland.org/
