Join us for a tour of Dutch Buffalo Farm in Pittsboro. The nursery specializes in native plants (especially native perennial wildflowers) for ecological landscaping and environmental restoration. They use an innovative growing system to responsibly propagate plants and do not use herbicides or pesticides, organic or otherwise. Owner Farrell Moose will show us around the nursery, answer questions, and share interesting anecdotes about seed collection, propagation and native plant nursery operations. Farrell will run a sale, giving us wholesale pricing since we are coming as a group.

Cap 25 people.  Registration required. NCNPS members have priority to register.  Registration will open to non-members on April 12.

Please only sign up if you plan to attend.  If life happens and you are no longer able to come, please cancel your registration and/or let us know so we can open up the spot to someone else.

For more info about Dutch Buffalo Farm:

After you register, you should receive a confirmation email. If not please check the registration page to be sure you're actually on the list. On recent trips some people have shown up who thought they registered but aren't on the list. Email us if you have questions or can't access the event page on the members only section of the NCNPS website.

If you're signing up for two people, please either enter separate registrations or enter the second person as a guest, even if you have a family membership. Otherwise it throws off the count and registration list. You will be offered the option to add a guest after you register the first person (click the "Add a guest" box at the top. If both people use the same email address just leave the email address blank for the guest registration.
