To bring together both seasonal and year-round members and friends of the Oconee Bell Chapter, we meet monthly to discuss questions of relevance to members of our Chapter of the NC Native Plant Society!
At 6 pm on June 18, 2024, friends and members of the Oconee Bell Chapter will set up a station where you can bring snacks to share and BYOB near a Picnic Shelter at the Cara Leigh Pulley Park of the Cashiers Village Green. Summer solstice is June 20 so we will celebrate the long daylight hours (rain or shine) by considering this question: “What difficulties did you have when moving a native plant?” This topic has already generated some interesting conversation! Please register to be informed in case the time or venue must be changed. We are also organizing events where chapter volunteers distribute information at community festivals.
